Nadia loves working with composers, sound designers, and sound engineers for singing in commercials, animation, film, and videogames. Comfortable in everything from opera to Broadway to jazz, rock, and pop, her versatile voice can be the ethereal, haunting voice in your horror game, the laidback cabaret nightclub singer featured in your next film, the operatic voice in a rock band, like Evanescence, while your game’s hero fights the boss, or singing the theme song while the credits roll.

All these experiences led to a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Florida State University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Ohio State University. In a nutshell, Nadia knows how to sing, but not just in the shower… Her studies in vocal pedagogy and her Singing Health Specialization certificate from OSU means she knows how to preserve vocal health while singing in potentially vocally stressful projects. Whether it’s singing in a character voice, or accent, or both, or for long recording sessions, Nadia has the vocal stamina to easily execute behind the mic. This also allows her to perform non-singing roles with continuity.

And if your project requires singing in a foreign language, no problem! Nadia has performed in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish due to her operatic training (she has also sung in Elvish for a Lord of the Rings piece!) She is comfortable working on diction for other languages and can tackle the language you created for your fantasy world.

Nadia enjoys working with composers and collaborating to create the best piece for your soundtrack. She never shies away from a musical challenge. The more complex time signatures, large leaps in the vocal line, or combinations of modalities – the better! Is your project full of vocal gymnastics – shifting between registers, rapid fire patter of text, or abrupt changes in musical styles like going from opera to rock? She was named after Nadia Comaneci after all, but she’s more of a vocal gymnast.
Does your piece have NSFW language and need it to sound pretty? Nadia is even fluent in cursing in cursive! (Put your headphones on, just in case…)
