The perfect voice for your game’s hero
It’s time. After one (or maybe four) years of pouring your soul into creating a world, writing dialogue, crafting imagery and visuals, and basically living in front of computer screens, it’s finally time to give your hero a voice. You’ve come to the right place.
Nadia Marshall is a classically trained actress, dancer, and singer with a love for building new worlds. Her improv, acting, and extensive vocal training have allowed her to develop versatile authentic and grounded characters. She is able to embody them with a wide vocal range and variety of vocal colors and imbue them with intelligence, emotion, and vulnerability. Whether you are looking for the Cate Blanchett Galadriel narrator, the femme fatale spy, the hardened assassin, the Holodeck computer voice, or the love interest, Nadia is the ideal choice for your game!
Have a character that needs an accent? Nadia is a British and American citizen and is of British and Indian heritage. She books regularly in her General American, British RP, British Indian, Indian, and Trans-Atlantic / Mid-Atlantic accents. She also has minors in both French and Italian from Florida State University, extensive study in German, and diction training in Russian and Spanish. She’s quite dexterous in providing your characters with any accented or non-accented English.
Nadia has voiced characters in a variety of games including first person shooters, RPGs, Dungeon Crawlers, horror, Battle Royale, MMORPG, Real-time strategy, rogue-like games, mystery, thrillers, cozy games, open world, and virtual reality. She possesses the physical stamina needed to maintain characters throughout long recording sessions.
And should your game need aliens, creatures, fight scenes, or other vocally stressful exertions, Nadia can handle that with ease. Thanks to her operatic vocal pedagogy training and her Singing Health Specialization certificate, Nadia knows how to care for her voice and keep her in instrument in tip-top shape.
A Motion Capture Ready Physical Actress
Does your game have a lot of action that needs a physical actress? Nadia has trained in boxing and Muay Thai and is incredibly comfortable with her body. Fitness is an important aspect of her life and is part of her daily routine. She has competed in physical events like Burpee 5ks (yes, that is just as awful as it sounds!), Toughest Mudder, and World’s Toughest Mudder. She was also a competitive swimmer for twelve years and played water polo for four. When she’s not kicking ass in the ring or in the water, she’s slaying it on the dance floor. Nadia is a trained Argentine tango dancer and also dances kizomba, bachata, and salsa. If that’s not enough, she also enjoys horseback riding, cycling, rowing, and playing piano. Whatever action your game has in store, as a mocap actress, Nadia’s got it covered.
She acts, she dances, AND she sings – a true triple threat
Writing an epic fantasy game and want an operatic sound for your singing vocals? Nadia is an opera singer who has performed in Italian, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, but perhaps more importantly for you, she’s also sung in Elvish for a Lord of the Rings piece. (Fun fact, they actually used Tolkien’s Elvish which sounded like all the other languages she’s sung opera in – blended into one!)
But if that’s a bit formal, she also has Broadway, cabaret, and jazz chops. She’s even done a rock opera piece with EDM beats- a mashup of School of Rock and Guitar Hero. So, whether you need ethereal vocals or a showstopping number that will enhance your game’s soundtrack, Nadia is your triple threat.
